After using cotton buds, I felt sudden pain in my left eye. Tears came out non-stop. I decided to remove the lens and found out that the len was just half of a circle. It broken into half in my eye! OMG!
Where was the other half? I couldn’t find it on the desk, on tissue paper and I didn’t see it in my eye!
SHIT.
After squeezing and searching for almost half an hour in front of the mirror, finally I saw the other half still inside my eye. Quickly took it out and tried to match it with the other half I took out earlier to make sure I get a full circle.
Guess I’m having bad luck, the half split into another half! OK, now I have 3 pieces and more difficult to arrange and match it! I started to feel panic. Could it be any tiny little pieces of lens still stuck in my eye?
Quickly, I went to eye ware shops in QB to seek their help. I stepped into branded Shop P. Unfortunately the specialist went out for lunch. :( I was asked to come back later.
I try my luck at a smaller shop. (Sorry , can’t recall the name and it is small). They don’t offer me a helping hand. FINE!
I went to another popular shop F. I was greeted by a nice young lady and she checked my eye. After that I went back to Shop P and thank God the good looking specialist came back from lunch. He checked my eye with the help of a machine (seems more Pro! :P) and let me wash my eye with normal saline solution. Both of them said that there should be nothing inside the eye. ( I hope I’m ok, but I still felt uncomfortable in my eye)
I thought smaller shop would lend me a helping hand but it did not! Both bigger and popular eye wear shops offered good customer services and the tiny little shop was just too money-minded. Guess u r losing me as one of your customers FOREVER!
I was in a bad mood and felt soo down. I met v a fren and get myself a piece of cake and a cup of nice coffee to help cheer up. (that was my lunch at 3.30pm after a busy eye-checking session). We bumped into another hometown fren and had a nice chitchat.
